NYX Products & Swatches Part 1

As a result of what some would call luck (I prefer to say fate) my parents met someone pretty special on a bicycle tour around France... The CEO of NYX Cosmetics Scott Friedman!


As they spent just over 10 days with this cycling tour, everyone got to know each other fairly well and my parents managed to sneak in the fact that I had a huge interest in the makeup industry. From there they showed Mr. Friedman my blog, my instagram and some photos of my freelance makeup artist work. To my delight he was impressed and promised to send through a care package of some products that currently are very difficult to get in Australia. About a month later, this beautiful case arrived!

After about an hour of playing around with all the goodies inside, I sent Scott an email asking if i could swatch and review the products he sent me. As a result, I have broken the products into categories (Face, Eyes & Lips) and taken photos of swatches and will be giving a short description and review! This is part 1 of a 4 part series, showing a brief overview of the products inside the makeup bag and little pouch I received.




First of all, this makeup bag is PERFECT. Its sleek, black, easy to clean and has the perfect compartments for just about everything. Little pouches for lipsticks and eyeliners, a large zip up section in one half for bulkier products and a clear zip up section which is perfect for any product that has a tendency to leak.

I travel quite a bit so this makeup bag is perfect and just big enough to hold the essentials but definitely not oversized.

As you can see from the photos, I was sent a little bit of everything to try and I can't wait for you to read my thoughts on it all! Some how Mr. Friedman managed to pick out the perfect colours for everything, there is not one product in here that I won't use.
